This page is dedicated to the readers who might want to know more about the writer before going forward. My profile will cover the basics, but I would also like to share with you a few facts about myself you might find interesting. My mini-biography will include my future hopes and dreams.

I am a proud Texan, born and raised in Austin. My fraternal twin sister, Courtney, and I arrived in the world on April 1, 1987. I love bring a twin and one who happens to be an April Fool’s Day baby, despite the fact Courtney got to be the first one to blowout the birthday candles. She being the older twin and using that toward her advantage, rightfully so. I have come to terms with this and accepted my fate as the younger twin. Did I forget to mention, younger meaning by one minute?

My twin and I looked almost identical growing up. Think of us as Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, who are also fraternal twins. They looked very similar until they were, I would say, in their early to mid-twenties. Our personalities are night and day. Courtney is right-sided, left-brain dominant, and I am ambidextrous, and a right-brain thinker. I play sports using my right-side as the undertaker, but typically all other tasks are assisted with my left. Court loves numbers and I have a thing for words and pictures.

An interesting fact about me writing with my left hand is that my paper must be turned 90 degrees, clockwise, in order for to write professionally. If I do not have my paper turned sideways, my handwriting would be linked to a five-year-old. I write symbols like they are the mirror images of their originals. An example would be my checkmarks. Basically, my life has been altered by living with a “mirror-reflected” brain in a world ruled by the right-handed man. The struggle is real, but my pack of wolves will survive.

I love to watch sporting events, especially football and basketball. When it comes to the Winter or Summer Olympics count me in. I also enjoyed playing sports growing up. Teamwork has always been used as an important tool for my family. Both my parents worked fulltime, meaning endless possibilities of extracurricular activities and summer camps. My sister and I even went to magic camp for two summers, because it was the 1990s and magic was everything, and a sense of imagination.

I previously attended Louisiana State University, but I am currently finishing my degree in advertising at Texas State University. Today, I live a much simpler life using four easy steps: eat, sleep, school, then repeat. For the future, I hope to be a professional writer, own a children’s bookstore, and travel around the world to study different Art Museums. I would like to do philanthropy work, helping others in need is important to me.
